I am a specialist construction disputes lawyer, with particular expertise in building defects claims, issues impacting bodies corporate and bodies corporate managers, and property matters. My focus is achieving the best outcome for my clients. Using the litigation process, disputes are often resolved by way of negotiation or mediation. However, where alternative means of resolution have been exhausted, I seek resolution of claims through trials, appeals and adjudications in the District Court, the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Weathertight Homes Tribunal. I have over 25 years’ experience. While my primary area of expertise is in resolving construction disputes and weathertightness related claims, I am also experienced in resolving commercial and residential property related actions, trade practices, company compliance governance shareholder and solvency issues, resolving partnership and joint venture disputes, defamation and media advice, and general legal disputes in contract, tort and equity.
