ABOUT PERLA ADRIAN
I’m a finance and operations leader with over thirteen years of experience across full-cycle accounting, cash management, and financial reporting, with a background spanning fintech, education, and public development sectors. I specialize in bringing clarity, structure, and execution to complex, evolving environments.I’m currently with Forbright Bank, supporting Solar Servicing following its acquisition. Having worked closely with the platform prior to and through the transition, I bring deep institutional knowledge, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership during periods of change. I’m known for stepping in during critical moments to help stabilize processes, support continuity, and keep teams moving forward.Previously at Solar Mosaic, I played a key role in streamlining accounts payable processes, supporting the implementation of an accounts receivable module, and leading improvements to the Oracle Cash Management module to enhance visibility, controls, and daily cash operations. These experiences reinforced my ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Beyond my corporate role, I’m a co-founder of Kiddie Latte Joy, an indoor playground café concept created for modern families, where children play safely while parents enjoy quality coffee, food, and community. The idea was born from my own experience navigating motherhood while building a career in demanding corporate environments. We successfully launched our first location in Guadalajara, Mexico, and are now preparing for expansion into the United States. This founder journey has strengthened my view of finance as a strategic growth lever grounded in real-world needs.I also serve as the Austin City Lead for LaFamilia Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on closing the resource and network gap for Latine founders. LaFamilia brings together the largest communities of Latine founders and venture capitalists in the U.S, with a bold vision to help shift $1B in venture capital annually into Latine- and Hispanic-led startups. In this role, I support community building and ecosystem connections across Austin’s venture landscape. What drives me is problem solving, system improvement, and building environments where both people and businesses can thrive. I enjoy connecting with operators, founders, and leaders who value execution, resilience, and building with intention.
