ABOUT PAVEL DMITRIEV

I believe in the power of data to help make higher-quality decisions, develop innovative products, reduce bias and inequality, and create a better, happier world. I also believe that everyone can achieve their full potential, and I love helping people I work with become the best version of themselves. I have 20+ years of experience as a data science executive, engineering manager, researcher, data scientist, data analyst, and software engineer. I kick-started the data science team at Outreach and grew it to ~50 people in the US and internationally in a cost-effective manner. I established Outreach as a leader in AI for Sales and helped grow the company\'s valuation from ~$200M to ~$4.7B.I am highly experienced in working closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to define AI roadmap, build and release new products, measure customer value, design sales and marketing messaging, and make data-driven decisions. I regularly participate in customer calls and represent the company externally in webinars, conferences, and interviews. I am a champion of diversity, consistently maintaining the highest level of diversity and the lowest level of regrettable attrition among all departments in the Engineering organization. I partnered with HR on developing and conducting employee and executive trainings at Outreach. I am also a Professional Coach in training.I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Cornell University, and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Moscow State University. I have 30+ peer-reviewed publications at top-tier Computer Science conferences, including best paper awards. My technical specializations include A/B testing, Metric Design, Data Analytics, NLP and LLMs.
