are a Supply chain/logistics org supplying a variety of premium services to a range of national, and global, high profile clients within various domains.Lead of the testing function within TVS\'s software development team consisting of TVS employees in Chorley, and India (and, previously, onsite consultants)Principal applications are- In house developed modular ERP system (IBM iSeries/RPG platform)- Biztalk based ESB: Integration, translation, and transformation layer for integration with TVS applications (both internal between systems, and externally with clients)- Client and customer-facing E-Commerce website (principally used B2B)- Supplier Information Portal: Web based, external/supplier facing application which integrates with the ERP- Mobile stock management web application- Product data manager - Technical authoring of the parts for integration with the ERP system, and also for the generation of parts catalogues/publications for the E-Commerce system- Transport and Delivery job management system: Driver side application for job management and status updates, integrating back to the ERPResponsibility for the testing strategy and overseeing of project-specific test plans used with the company, including both the interactive/exploratory testing and also the use of tools, including automation. Role covers all software development projects both new functionality and applications, and BAU and ongoing enhancements.Summary of successes- Completion of numerous highly critical projects- Introduction and roll out of test automation in the department{segment draft still WIP}
