ABOUT PAUL CHARLTON

I have worked in Corporate Recovery/Insolvency since 1976 and throughout that career have advised, and been involved with, a huge spectrum of business sectors for both large and small companies. I have always followed and enjoyed the personal and \"hands on\" approach to dealing with companies and individuals who are in troubled times and under financial pressure. At Clark Business Recovery we aim to provide the best possible advice to directors and owner managed businesses in relation to their financial difficulties in distressed situations before their options are exhausted. We would like to form strategic alliances with accountants and other work referrers for our mutual benefit. We provide a genuine \"partner driven\" service to clients with a specialist team of people enabling us to meet all of our clients needs. We are able to adopt a much more pragmatic approach to cases and do not suffer from the financial constraints of some of the larger firms. Also, we do not offer auditing or other tax or accountancy services competing with our referrers for work and as a result we are able to pass work back to those referrers. We work proactively with accountants, lawyers and other referrers and are always mindful that the onset of insolvency work often means the loss of a client to the referrer. This is something that we work hard to mitigate against. Specialties include the provision of advice to directors and owner managed businesses in relation to their current financial difficulties including but not limited to Company Voluntary Arrangement, Administration, Receivership, Creditors Voluntary Liquidation, Compulsory Liquidation, Members Voluntary Liquidation, Individual Voluntary Arrangement and Bankruptcy.
