ABOUT PAUL ARNOW

I love getting dressed. Seems like a pretty mundane activity that we all have to do daily. But it really is fun for me. I like it because I\'m just interested in the clothing. Figuring out ways to compliment different colors, patterns, textures, and silhouettes is a challenge, and it\'s fun. And even beyond that, just handling the clothing is a pleasure. Seeing the fabrication and construction up close really shows how clothing can be a work of art. That love of clothing is what got me into working in the luxury apparel industry. I\'ve written about menswear and style for a number of blogs. And even better, I\'ve been able to make a career in retail. Being able to handle the product on a day-to-day basis, telling the stories behind the brands to customers, and selling it to wonderful people who also love the product are all experiences I value so much. Being able to work my way in to store management brought me much more gratification. The accomplishment of leading a sales team to hit their goals, as well as bringing my store to levels of positive company contribution feels that much more rewarding.Lately, I have dipped my toe back into the clothing world working on the sales floor. I\'ve also been able to support my family as a stay-at-home dad while expanding my selling skills by working as a licensed real estate agent here in the Nashville area.In my spare time, I\'ve been known to paint (both oil and acrylic), and I still do write about clothes.
