I am an award winning cookbook author, cookbook critic, food writer, digital editor, and recipe developer. I work with chefs, food professionals, and publications as a cookbook co-author. My newsletter, Stained Page News, discusses the cookbook world in-depth with an enthusiastic audience of over readers.I have over 15 years of experience producing digital content, with a specialty in food and drinks writing and editing. I have written for some of the biggest names out there, including Texas Monthly, Eater, Epicurious, Bon Appetit, and many more. My areas of expertise include cookbooks, restaurants, home cooking, cocktails, and Texas food and travel. My first book, The Austin Cookbook, was published by Abrams in 2018, and I was part of the team that produced The Big Texas Cookbook by the Editors of Texas Monthly. My most recent book, Cured: Cooking with Ferments, Pickles, Preserves & More, written with chef Steve McHugh, came out March 26.
