Co-authored, developed and implemented a primary care led health system transformation through a management services organization (MSO) model• Developed a management services organization model, aligning primary care physician practices, facilitating the alignment of economics, quality, the patient experience, and at the same time, lowering the total cost of care • Negotiated with health plan executives an all payer Value Based Care reimbursement model, allowing primary care physicians to economically benefit from the value they create by improving quality and the patient experience while lowering the total cost of care• Successfully negotiated and implemented a strategic partnerships with payors with the stated objective of supporting independent, primary care physician practices• Launched the VillageMD MSO and Clinical model in Houston, Indianapolis, New Hampshire, Kentucky, Georgia, and Chicago. Other MSAs currently under development. • Filed for Medicare ACOs in Indiana, New Hampshire, and Chicago. Results to date demonstrate a total cost of care improvement of 15%-30%, in both Medicare, MA and Commercial lines of business, with the corresponding reductions in utilization, while deliver quality at 5-10% above market
