About Patti Rugg
Hi, I’m Patti Rugg, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Sanoviv Medical Institute Nutrition Adviser and Co-Founder of Rugg Wellness PC a Functional Medicine and Health Coaching Practice. I have taught and coached the importance and integration of Healthy Habits for over 20 years. My husband, Peter W. Rugg, MD, and I work together supporting lifestyles for longevity. I developed an interest in Health Coaching when I was diagnosed with celiac disease 8 years ago. The Gut-Brain connection is no joke. Scientific research has linked Gut-Brain issues to skin issues, anxiety, stomach problems, dementia, and Alzheimer\'s disease. Celiac Disease had manifested itself as rheumatoid arthritis and psoriasis in my body.I decided to steer a new course and change my eating, sleeping and exercise habits. I read the literature and the successes of others. I put the best of these into practice. Things changed. I changed. My health improved. My energy and stress levels improved. It seemed only natural to share this knowledge and help others. I became an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and Sanoviv Medical Institute Nutrition Advisor. Being a Health Coach and Nutrition Advisor has empowered me to help others to achieve and retain healthy habits, to improve their lifestyles and their lives. My MD husband, Peter and I founded Rugg Wellness, PC. In this Functional Medicine and Health Coaching practice, we engage and support people in Lifestyles for Longevity.
