I\'m a Johns Hopkins-trained otolaryngologist and clinician-scientist who transitioned from clinical practice to invest in and help build healthcare companies.Before pivoting, I was a partner and director of a six-physician single specialty group practice, navigating payer contracts, drug and device procurement, reimbursement structures, and the operational realities of running a healthcare business with multiple clinical verticals.What I have learned is that even when the science works, commercial success isn\'t guaranteed. What drives it is rarely just clinical merit. It is workflow fit, procurement politics, physician behavior, and the financial incentives of every player in the market. I\'ve lived inside that system, and now I help founders navigate it.I work across venture capital, angel investment, and startup operations. I look for founders building things I wish had existed when I was practicing and try to help them see around corners they haven\'t reached yet.
