ABOUT PATRICIA TISH SCHUYLER

As a senior biologist, regulatory specialist, and project manager, Patricia excels in coordinating with regulatory agencies to secure project approvals and ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations. Patricia began her career as a field biologist, providing clients with a comprehensive range of biological services, including vegetation mapping, rare plant surveys, focused wildlife surveys, habitat assessments, and jurisdictional aquatic resource delineations. She is proficient in preparing detailed biological technical studies and reports, addressing impacts on biological resources, navigating complex regulatory requirements, and facilitating informed decision-making. Patricia has served in a variety of project management and lead biologist roles for a diverse client base, including municipalities, transportation and energy clients, government agencies, and land development companies. In her project work, Patricia solves biological and regulatory challenges and leads interagency coordination efforts to facilitate the entitlement and environmental permitting process. Patricia has extensive experience managing large, complex projects with interdisciplinary staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and successful project outcomes. She also provides technical analysis to support various environmental documents related to State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) regulations and authors the corresponding components in these documents.Patricia serves as national secretary for Women in Environment
