About Parveez Ubed
I started ERC with a simple belief — that no one in Bharat should lose their sight because they live in a remote village — and that belief now powers a phygital system that reaches 300+ villages+ semi urban localities every month, has served 1.5 million+ people, delivered + eyeglasses, and restored vision through surgeries across Northeast India.My mission is to build a healthcare model that walks into communities instead of waiting for them to come to us, powered by offline-first EMRs, AI-assisted triage, community-level micro-distribution, and a digital supply chain designed for low-connectivity geographies.We use data to reduce avoidable blindness, predictive tools to optimize surgical camps, and a multilingual, low-bandwidth tech stack that lets counsellors, field workers, and doctors collaborate seamlessly even in the most remote tea estates and riverine islands.At the heart of it, our goal is simple: bring world-class, tech-enabled, dignity-driven eye care to low-income families at rural price points — and lift millions out of avoidable darkness.
