My passion is helping executives Think, Lead, and Act like a CEO. Trained as a singer, dancer, actress, and TV/radio host, I leverage my performance skills as a management professor and consultant. In business, every time we communicate, we are performing, and our performance must always move the strategy forward. One of the most valuable tools for the success of a person’s business career is the ability to communicate effectively the company\'s vision and mission. Successful executives realize they are always ‘on-stage’ – aware of their audience, persuading them with authenticity, passion and data storytelling. At Vanderbilt\'s Owen Graduate School of Management, I teach Management Communication to MBA, Master of Accountancy, Master of Finance, and Executive MBA students. I lead trainings in the Owen Executive Institute on \"Communication Strategies for Senior Leaders,\"\"Women in Leadership,\" and \"Persuasive and Influential Speaking\"- with companies such as Nissan, BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Lilly, FedEx, Monster Energy, Dollar General, Tennessee Valley Authority, Cardinal Health and NASA. I\'m hired as an interactive, keynote speaker for national and global conferences such as Regions, BAI, NCURA, and PCMA. Topics include \"Think, Lead, Act Like a CEO,\"\"Leadership That Gets Results,\"\"Motivating Meetings,\"\"Developing Your Executive Brand,\"\"Positive, Productive Cultures,\" and \"Advanced Presentations.\" When not in the classroom, I love working as CEO and President of Executive Aura with my best friends Professors Michael Burcham and David Furse. Executive AURA is a leadership development and business strategy company that works with executives in the C-suite and emerging leaders. We value our trusted, truth-telling, confidential partnerships and focus on the company\'s success and the executive\'s success. We work with companies such as Dollar General, Tractor Supply, Bridgestone, Vanderbilt University Medical Center, SVMIC, HCTec, Bass Berry & Simms, and Nashville Soccer Club.
