Orlando Campos serves as the CEO of the Harlingen Economic Development Corporation helping to create positive economic prosperity in the community.Prior to coming to Harlingen, Orlando served as the Director of Economic Development & Tourism in Addison, Texas for 12 years, and Senior Director of Business & Community Development for the Arlington Chamber of Commerce for four years. Orlando began his economic development career with the Brownsville Economic Development Council. He was appointed Director of Marketing before being promoted to Vice President of Business Development. During his tenure, Orlando worked with companies to establish operations on both US and Mexican sides of the border. For a few years Orlando also worked for the Valley International Airport in Harlingen as their Manager of Business Development. During his tenure at the airport, Orlando helped make Valley International Airport the largest and busiest air cargo facility in the Rio Grande Valley.
