ABOUT ORFEAS GEORGAKAKIS PAULSSON
I am a positive person with a strong professional background, which not only cares about the environment but also its inhabitants. I have a few causes close to my heart, and I believe we can all work towards them, such as the promotion of Human Rights and sustainability. I complement my degree in Political Science with international hands-on experience, such as fieldwork, lobbying, external environmental monitoring. Moreover, I also have experience in foreign policy and leading NGOs such as the United Nations Association, Amnesty International and the Red Cross Youth. Today I´m pursuing a Masters in International and European relations to get a deeper grasp of topics like international law and security, European institutions and Europe’s external relations, theories of international relations, contemporary issues of global governance, and research design and methodology. I have strong problem-solving skills, and I care about efficiency. I can work both independently and in a team; moreover, my previous employers always praised my positive attitude and my ability to deal with daily challenges.
