ABOUT NATHAN ULERY
My career has been focused on building teams, developing people, and growing businesses. At Resultant, my focus is on synergizing our Managed Services and Professional Services teams, aiming to enhance our client engagements with offerings that are not only innovative but also provide lasting impact. My leadership approach combines financial success with meaningful contributions to society, embodying Resultant’s core values of Purposeful Empathy and Outcomes Focus. As the Chief Operating Officer, at The Mx Group, I assisted in the organization’s transition from founder-led to management led operations. Under my leadership, we doubled the agency’s size, completed our first acquisition, and achieved the distinction of B2B Marketing Agency of the Year. My responsibilities included supporting the development of our various practice areas and back-office functions, enabling our talented team to elevate the customer experience and deliver business outcomes for our clients. During my tenure with West Monroe from its inception, I had the opportunity to establish and grow three distinct business units. This process included strategy development, market entry, team recruitment, and client service. The growth of these teams was impressive, but it was the personal and professional development of the individuals within these teams that I found the most fulfilling. As the executive sponsor for West Monroe’s Women’s Leadership Network, I supported the group’s efforts to recruit, retain, and advance women in leadership roles. The professional services industry bears a responsibility not to hire talent but to cultivate it. I consider myself fortunate to have worked for organizations that shared this commitment to talent development and leadership building. Witnessing the growth and progression of individuals I’ve hired is among my greatest professional satisfactions. My commitment to talent development extends beyond the workplace. I chair the Board of Directors for Chicago Scholars where we support academically ambitious, first-generation students through our seven-year program so they not only get through college — they build futures where they can truly thrive. Chicago Scholars has a program that works for young people, and while our demonstrated ROI of $53.67 for each dollar invested in the program speaks to the effectiveness of our work, we are reminded each day that behind every great stat is a great story.
