Assist in start-up, shut-down and normal operations of power plant systems.• Execute orders from the Control Room Operator and operation manager at isolated panels for clearing equipment or making it ready for service. • Monitor and operate plant equipment and responding to plant upset events and emergencies.• Troubleshooting and correcting mechanical problems which include combustion turbines, steam turbines, pumps, compressors, valves and various rotating equipment.• Operate clarifier dealing with grey water for the cooling tower makeup and adjusted chemical feed. • Perform chemical inventory and place order as needed. • Perform routine inspections and assigned tasks as directed to support the site Discharge Prevention, Containment and Countermeasures (DPCC) Plan.
