ABOUT NIKOLA SLAVIC

I am an international student-athlete from Sweden at The University of Mississippi. In May 2023, I graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance. Since June 2023, I have been continuing my education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of Mississippi. In addition to my studies, I have worked as a Graduate Assistant since August 2023 within the Real Estate Department, where I have provided assistance in research and organization of the classroom including grading and proctoring as well as preparing alumni events. I am a highly competitive and hard-working team player with strong communication skills, who wants to translate the skills I learned as a collegiate student-athlete, into a professional environment. Being a student-athlete at an SEC school has taught me many valuable skills, such as managing a busy schedule, maintaining composure in stressful situations, and effectively communicating with a diverse group of people. It also helped me strengthen important values such as gratitude, reliability, and respect. I am very grateful for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play tennis while pursuing not only one but two degrees at a highly regarded SEC school. My decision to study abroad has helped me grow as a person and become more confident in my abilities. Now, I am looking forward to proving myself in a professional setting.
