I work on product, systems, and data. Currently building at Dhwani and leading IT and data at 180 Degrees Consulting GLT.Different spaces, same pattern. Most problems are unclear, poorly defined, and hard to measure. That’s usually where I begin.There’s a WWII example I think about often. Aircraft returned with bullet holes on the wings, so the instinct was to reinforce those areas. But the real issue was where planes didn’t return. That mistake shows up everywhere — in products, data, and decisions. I try to build against that.In practice, this means turning vague ideas into measurable systems, designing workflows teams can actually execute, working with messy data instead of waiting for clean data, and building or shipping things myself when needed — including code.I use AI a lot — to move faster, test faster, break things faster, and write code faster. But everything still gets reviewed. Structure still matters.I don’t operate within clean roles. Product, system design, business logic, data, development — it overlaps. That’s usually where real work happens.Lately, I’m interested in how systems behave in the real world, where decisions go wrong without us noticing, and how to measure impact without distorting it — especially as AI systems move beyond the hype cycle.If you\'re working on something unclear or hard to structure, I’m open to exchanging notes.
