ABOUT NICOLE GAVRIJASEVA

I am currently pursuing a Global BBA at ESSEC Business School, where I am particularly focused on in topics like finance, portfolio management, strategy and data analysis. Coming from Estonia and studying across France and Singapore has given me a global perspective and strengthened my ability to work in diverse, fast-paced environments. Beyond academics, I’ve gained hands-on experience through internships in various areas of financial crime prevention, including fraud monitoring and anti-money laundering. I am also currently a market analyst at Essec Club of Economics, where I conduct in-depth investment research, help build stock pitches and contribute to the development of investment theses. This includes analyzing company fundamentals, sector trends, and risk factors to support data-driven recommendations. More recently, I’ve become increasingly curious about how AI and emerging technologies are transforming traditional industries - especially in the financial space. I’m actively learning in this area and eager to apply both analytical and creative thinking to forward-looking, impactful projects.
