About Nicolás Hauresz
I currently serve as Senior Vice President at Gallagher Re, where I lead diverse projects and client teams across Latin America and the Caribbean. Over the past 22+ years, I’ve worked at Tier 1 reinsurers, as well as in consulting and brokerage firms. Based in Miami, I work closely with clients throughout the region, combining technical expertise with strategic insight.My academic background blends technical and leadership skills, with studies in Actuarial Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires, Organizational Competences at CEMA University, and executive programs at Harvard Business School. I have extensive experience across both P&C and L&H lines, with a focus on product development, reinsurance structuring, and impact analysis on insurers’ KPIs and balance sheets.I’m also passionate about education. I’ve taught Statistics and Quantitative Methods in the Actuarial Sciences program at the University of Buenos Aires, and I currently coordinate the Reinsurance Module in the Master’s in Risk Management and Insurance at Universal University of Puerto Rico.
