ABOUT NICOLAS RAMIN
With an engineer degree in computer science and communications, specialized in image processing, a master\'s degree in signal processing, and a PhD in computer science, I have built my career at the crossroads of research, innovation, and management. After five years at Orange, a year as an expert engineer at an INRIA academic laboratory, and nine years at INPIXAL, a Rennes-based SME specialized in image processing and analysis, I joined IRT b<>com in 2019. I initially contributed to projects in computer vision and volumetric video. I then took on responsibility for projects and then for the Images & Vision activity, which consists of a team of experts in image processing, video coding, and computer vision. In 2023, I decided to pursue an Executive MBA at Rennes School of Business to broaden my strategic vision and strengthen my ability to combine technical excellence with innovation challenges. In 2025, a new chapter began when I took up my position as Deputy Director of Expertise & Innovation. My mission is to support our engineers, PhDs, and doctoral students, to grow our expertise, and to serve projects that bring value to our members and society. Enthusiastic and committed, I deeply believe in the collective as a driver of progress.
