ABOUT NICK GRIFFIN
I am a Landscape Architect passionate about strengthening connections between nature and community through meaningful public spaces and experiential design. As co-founding director of Merri Studio, I focus on combining environmental leadership with community-centred design to create enduring places that enhance both natural systems and social wellbeing. My areas of expertise include- Nature-based tourism infrastructure- Environmental enhancement projects- Public realm design- Open space masterplanningWhat excites me most is creating spaces where communities forge their own relationships with place, and mentoring designers to trust their unique perspectives. Both stem from a simple belief: our work should cultivate relationships, not just shape spaces.
