ABOUT NICHOLAS MOLLAHAN

I have learned how to work with many people and project manage multiple tasks at one time. Building relationships internally and more notably, with the customer is a key part of my experience. Working in outside services at Orinda Country Club taught me how to prioritize the client even while balancing all of the duties and emergencies that came my way. My marketing internship with One Touch Point improved my project management skills by utilizing SmartSheet technology to stay up to date on all of the programs and projects that our team was managing. I worked with multiple individuals in sales to source items for the projects and negotiate pricing and delivery dates. I prepared sell sheets and PowerPoint presentations that the sales team was able to share with clients. I utilized Photoshop to improve designs and prepare proofs and documentation for clients for multiple sales personnel. This role improved my attention to detail and my ability to organize and prioritize, as it was a fast-paced environment that required both speed and consistency. At Leeward Renewable Energy, I learned skills in GIS, Nina, and Anderson, working on finding locations for new and existing projects for Wind, Solar, or Battery. I got to travel with my development team to New Mexico to see an existing site, as well as talk with neighboring parcels to inform them about LRE. I gained skills inside the office such as reviewing leases and creating proposals as well as improving my use of technology. Being a part of the development team at Leeward helped me to understand more about the energy industry, specifically renewable energy. This combined with my experiences with The energy club at TCU have confirmed my commitment to the energy industry. The energy industry will have a great part in facilitating improvements across the globe and I am excited to be a part of this.
