ABOUT NELE JACOBS

Enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive final-stage doctoral candidate in the field of International Marketing/Management (Innovation Research) My academic research was developed in cooperation with a German multinational corporation and focuses on the empirical analysis of consumer perceptions and behavior, specifically on consumer perceptions of innovativeness in a global context. I have had the opportunity to participate and present my research at various internationally renowned research conferences as well as the company\'s corporate headquarters, which has allowed me to develop strong presentation and moderation skills for various stakeholder groups. During my doctoral studies, I have been able to get to know myself better and optimize my own time and self-management. I distinguish myself by a high ability to independently familiarize myself with complex issues as well as my strong desire and eagerness to develop. As part of my work at Trier University, I manage the ERASMUS+ office for the departments of Business Administration, Economics, and Social Sciences. Working with students from different countries allows me to use the intercultural skills I acquired during my own studies abroad (USA, Finland). I have also been able to gain initial experience in team leadership and project management. My colleagues particularly appreciate my strong solution orientation and commitment. After completing my doctoral studies, I look forward to applying my skills in a dynamic business environment as a strategy/management consultant - preferably in an international context.
