View department →

As a Senior Consultant in OpenText\'s Professional Services team responsible for Availability, Recovery & Migrate (ARM), specialising in Migration, HA/DR and AI Solutions Architecture, I deliver enterprise-grade migration consultancy and AI-assisted tooling for complex infrastructure transformation programmes. My work spans the full migration lifecycle from pre-migration discovery through to cutover and post-migration validation, primarily focusing on Windows Failover Cluster migrations (on-prem & cloud) for enterprise clients across banking, financial and professional services.A key area of current development is applying AI tooling to automate migration delivery workflows. I have developed and released a suite of PowerShell tools for ARM PS consultants, to assist with the discovery and migration of both servers and clusters, each with professional-grade HTML documentation.I am leading the design of a locally deployed Migration Portal to replace the existing Excel-based Cluster Delivery Workbook, utilising IIS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX skills to deliver a full-stack solution with automated PowerShell data gathering, MySQL backend, role-based access controls, and OAuth token authentication. In terms of AI development, I have built advanced capabilities in prompt engineering, AI context management, agentic AI workflows, and multi-agent frameworks, all self-taught through hands-on project work. I use Claude as a primary development tool across scripting, solution architecture, documentation, and product specification, using Claude Project workspaces with decision log, lessons learned, and project detail.md files to manage complex multi-session work.Additional responsibilities and experience include; Windows Server Failover Cluster architecture and troubleshooting, Azure infrastructure design, VMware and Hyper-V test lab builds with TrueNAS iSCSI storage, and research into enterprise migration tooling including VMware to OpenStack strategies.
