As Cabinet Member for Finance, Resources and Transformation at Wigan Council. My work focuses on strategic financial planning, procurement, contract oversight, and driving innovation in public service delivery to ensure both efficiency and community impact.Internationally, I represent the UK on the Council of Europe, where I serve as Chair of the Social Inclusion Committee and Spokesperson for Gender Equality—advocating for inclusive, equitable policies across member states.My cross-sector experience spans the public, commercial, and voluntary sectors, with particular strengths in public service reform, policy development, and budget management.
