ABOUT NATALIE H.
Natalie is a passionate leader of education, committed to driving change to improve outcomes for children and young people. She has over 10 years experience in school leadership and over 20 years experience working with children, young people and their families in both educational and non-educational settings. Proud of her own working-class heritage, Natalie is dedicated to the principle of social justice in education as a means to breaking down barriers and ensuring all students, regardless of their background, have the opportunity to achieve and succeed.*Views are my ownMost recently, Natalie works for an international education company as a School Improvement Partner, networking and consulting with schools and organisations across England. Working as part of a wider team of national thought leaders, she has cocreated resources to support school leaders to develop a relational approach to behaviour management. In addition, Natalie provides QE Insights (formerly Twinkl Digest) with summaries of education updates for leaders, breaking news and interviews with leading education experts. Most significantly, Natalie has developed a variety of educational provision for young people from birth to 18 across Hull and the East Riding. Working as a senior leader and specialist teacher across a variety of settings, including alternative provision, an independent school, mainstream and early years, she has supported children, schools and families with school reintegration, and is highly skilled at developing bespoke pathways to meet individual learning needs. Natalie has supported primary and secondary schools to develop inclusive practices through delivering training and workshops to upskill staff. In an advisory capacity, she has supported settings to adapt curriculum, environments and pedagogy to support young children at risk of school exclusion. Looking ahead, Natalie hopes to continue to support school leaders to develop sustainable leadership systems to help keep our most empathetic and effective educators in schools to help children and young people across England thrive.
