To deepen my understanding of computer science and gain hands-on exposure to advanced technologies, I chose to pursue my Master’s degree at California State University, East Bay—one of California’s well-regarded public universities.I’m a graduate Software Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience building and supporting production systems across fintech, cloud platforms, and data-driven applications, with work spanning backend services, distributed systems, and user-facing features. I’ve contributed to high-volume financial systems on HSBC’s Global Payments Innovation (GPI) platform, developing Java backend services, integrating Pega workflows, working with MySQL, and participating in on-call rotations to resolve production incidents under strict SLAs. I’ve also built full-stack applications using React and TypeScript, designed REST APIs, worked with relational databases, and deployed services on AWS and GCP, while collaborating closely with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders. With a strong foundation in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and cloud infrastructure, I enjoy taking ownership of features end-to-end and building reliable, scalable software where correctness, performance, and real-world impact truly matter.
