ABOUT NADINE TAYAR

I\'ve always lived in the space between two worlds: the analytical rigour of science and the unpredictable spark of a great story. My path hasn\'t been a straight line, and I think that\'s my superpower. I started with a BSc in Biological Sciences and an MSc in Ecology, Evolution & Conservation. That scientist\'s brain stayed with me as a I moved into production, leading global series for the BBC and various Bristol indies, and eventually picking up an Emmy along the way.I co-founded Pica Pica because I noticed a gap in our industry. We often talk about \"creative vs. commercial\" as if they\'re at odds. But I believe that the most ambitious, groundbreaking stories happen when you have a bulletproof business engine running behind them. After recently finishing my RTS miniMBA, I\'ve become obsessed with the modern mechanics of TV. I\'m focussed on building a company that isn\'t just creative, but resilient, scalable, and ready for the global streaming era.I\'m a firm advocate for inclusive, high-trust workplaces. As an MD, I see my job as creating a safe container for creative risk. When people from all walks of life feel empowered and supported, they do their best work.I\'m drive, compassionate, and deeply curious about where the business of television is headed next.If you want to talk ahop about Specialist Factual, the future of streaming, or how we can make our industry more inclusive, I\'d love to hear from you.
