I was hired in this position to oversee IT commercial portfolios for Gilead Sciences and Pharmacyclics/AbbVie Inc. This entailed leading 4 cross-functional teams, developing multi-year roadmaps, and implementing project management best practices. Throughout my tenure, I have directed complex IT programs. Currently, I am overseeing million dollar programs like field capacity building and sales commercial optimization programs that encompasses 7 and 9 projects respectively. As part of this program, I boosted sales capacity by 35% by launching a field access specialist team. I also facilitated data visualization by implementing Tableau and BI dashboards. Finally, I drove an improvement in drug use and patient data collection by spearheading the replacement of drug sampling system with redeemable vouchers. This project also led to better visibility into drug distribution metrics. One of my key achievements in this role was streamlining project portfolio management and saving a six-figure expense by instituting Agile methodologies and merging related projects into a program. Finally, I collaborated with the senior management to optimize project prioritization.
