Accomplishment of Equipment Health Rating (EHR) of all major equipment (generator, transformer, circuit breaker) of Generating Station and provide technical recommendations for generator health based on detailed analysis of historical and current test results, and inspection.• Participated in Generator Stator and Rotor testing (winding IR, PI, Rotor Pole Drop, DC-Step/Ramp, VLF).• Perform scheduled inspections under preventive maintenance plan of step-up transformers, generators, circuit breakers, and exciter transformer, in compliance with BC hydro and standards.• Investigate generator, transformer, circuit breaker test results.• Participated in Exciter Transformer and Field Circuit Breaker health assessment for overall Exciter EHR assessment.• Reviewed and participated in authoring of VR Transformer, GSU Transformer Guard Rail, and Transformer Spare Memos.• Preparation and authoring of Generator inspection reports, including the documentation of generator health assessments, analysis reports, and interpretation of test results based on inspection and test results.• Provided GE Field Circuit Breaker and Motor Operator specification, planning, and sourcing for spare.• Conducted analysis of Transformer online DGA monitor for hydrogen (H2) gas results and identifying underlying issues of online DGA monitor.• Using real time data (advisory, trends, alerts, alarms) collected by GE SmartSignal to perform equipment health assessment, root cause analysis (RCA), troubleshooting, and identify underlying issues.• Provide business solutions and operational support to the team.• Interpret Transformer Mineral Oil Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA) test results according BC Hydro and standards.• Knowledge of Partial Discharge (PD), Corona Probe, Transformer (Insulation, Bushing, Hot Collar, Excitation Current, TTR, Winding Resistance).• Participate in trainings and development programs to stay updated.• Knowledge of Doble softwares (DTA, SFRA).
