Under the general direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), Deputy CIO & ISO is responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all Information Technology (IT) functions for SUNY Old Westbury University. In support of the CIO, provide leadership and guidance in critical areas of technology administration at the College, including budgeting, resource development and allocation, policy formation, technology evaluation, and service development, delivery, and deployment. Responsibility also involves providing leadership, direction, and support at the institution,state, and/or national level with broad-reaching institutional and/or statewide impact. Analyze technology trends and advancement in areas of specialization and plans for the long-term direction of the ITS organization. Act as the CIO\'s designee representing the College on Information Security matters; serve as the campus contact point for external auditors and agencies, survey requests, etc, on security/privacy matters.
