   As an RDA Process Engineer, I am responsible for identifying defects during the fabrication of semiconductors such as microchips and memory devices. I work with other process areas to investigate and resolve quality issues within the fabrication line. My duties include but are not limited to: Monitors, trouble shoots and resolves defect related excursion issues through line monitoring by completing basic level analysis, utilizing data mining tools and applying a logical flow to determine proper source of defect issues as well as escalate to the respective process engineering teams. Daily creates and presents data-rich presentations with findings on defect investigations basis at pass down and engineering meetings to communicate excursion issues, generate discussions, and identify action items. Provides customers with quantifiable data in a clear and concise manner which includes relevant values, comparisons, and statistics while ensuring charts/tables are properly labeled, legends are included, and corresponding time trends are appropriately accompanied by summaries, observations, and conclusions. Follows all documentation and procedures (Dispo specs, reaction mechanisms, black map procedures etc.) and identifies any gaps exists. Provides real-time feedback to team with any issues that are identified with these documentations. Recognizes and utilizes available resources to research new or unknown defects issues and determine if repeat occurrences and past actions have been taken to address the issues. Identifies RDA Inspection Tool issues and applies various trouble-shooting techniques to resolve them. Further defines which toolset should be used to set up partitions or non-Process On Record (POR) scans when sourcing defect issues. Identifies and drives improvements initiatives on existing RDA operation efficiency, creates new Best Known Methods (BKMs) and collaborates with diverse teams to ensure proposed solutions are properly deployed.
