Automotive Embedded Systems Engineer- Linux/QNX OS developer for Autonomous Driving ECUs- Tools: C/C++, Python, Lua, Bazel, CMake, Franca, Linux, QNX, Scrum, Kanban, Webassembly, Git, CI/CD, Qemu, Docker. C and C++: These are my main languages as I use them since 2010. My skills with C++ and OOP abstraction and code organisation with design patterns have been increasing day after day. Bazel and CMake- I’ve been using these tools to build either the OS and specific applications within the system- So far I have more experience with Bazel since I already created a full building environment for at least two full applications related to others and also the OS for deployment. Google tests and Google Mock- I’ve been using these tools for unit testing- Very high quality tests using test fixtures with setup and teardown- Google mock to mock external information coming from outside, but also to split responsibility since in OOP I used to abstract the code in a way that each module has an interface (abstract class) which can be overridden in unit test within mock classes that use Google Mock in order to create fake environment s for each unit (class function) being tested. Python & Qemu- Component testing for each apllication- Integration testing for all applications in the system interacting with each other and with the environment- I’m very familiar with python for many years, since I used it a lot at University for Machine Learning, but also at Blockchain Innovations company where we created a Cryptocurrency using this it- About component and integration tests, python is very flexible since we can use tools like boost to mock full C++ services into python. Autosar- Within Adaptive Autosaar, I’m very familiar with Franca Interface Definition Language combined with a good usage of the build files for interface code generation- I’ve been working with protocols like someip and UDS for communication between ECUs and cars, respectively.
