Navigating through the murky waters of career aspirations, I find myself at a curious juncture, clueless about what I want to do in life. Yet, I have spent a considerable amount of time pondering over India and its future. My ultimate goal is to dedicate a significant part of my career to promoting critical thinking and responsible consumption of information and media in this country. Watching India evolve into a version that disappoints my imagination of this country, I am driven to encourage a culture of critical consumption and be part of the content that audiences engage with thoughtfully.My long-term ambition is to immerse myself in anti-establishment journalism, contributing to a happier, more equitable world. Alongside this, I’ve indulged in creating rookie short films and documentaries and have written numerous essays and research pieces on anti-establishment issues.Thus far, my career has been deeply rooted in the world of sports. As a New York Yankees fan, I have extensively covered the team across various publications, including Essentially Sports, The Sports Rush, and Yankees-centric outlets like Start Spreading the News and Pinstripes Nation. I’ve authored nearly 900 articles, managed writer teams, and driven over 100k monthly page views to digital MLB newsrooms at Essentially Sports.But I also harbor a side dream of crafting digital sports content from a beach far, far away, sipping on a pina colada. Despite this tropical fantasy, my career trajectory remains a mystery, and I prefer taking life one day at a time. I thrive on managing teams, collaborating with a motley crew of people, understanding the nuances of their work, and mutually existing in shared chaos.
