ABOUT MOHIT REDDY

As a Health and Safety Specialist with a Master of Technology in Health Safety and Environment Engineering, I have a passion for ensuring the well-being of workers and the environment in various industries, such as construction, oil and gas, and retail. I have over four years of experience in providing functional and operational support for the implementation and monitoring of health and safety plans, policies, and systems, in compliance with legal and organizational requirements. Most recently, I worked as a Senior Health and Safety Specialist at Amazon, where I supported the Senior Leadership Team in developing structure and processes for the safety of employees and the continuity of business operations. I also acted as a point of contact for the coordination of EHS communications and escalations, managed and tracked site and service performance indicators, and served in a matrix environment with regular interface with site leadership and HSE contacts. Some of my key achievements include providing visible and active EHS leadership within the location, driving improvement toward goals, organizing and conducting monthly safety rounds and meetings, and acting on employee complaints relating to health, safety, or welfare. I have also obtained multiple certifications, such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001, NEBOSH IGC, OSHAD-ABUDHABI, and OSHA 30Hrs General Industry, to enhance my skills and knowledge in the field of health and safety. I am currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Industrial Safety, which will further equip me with the competencies and techniques to handle complex and dynamic health and safety issues. My core competencies include construction safety, teamwork, construction management, Microsoft Office, research, and management. I am also skilled in communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making. I am motivated by the vision of creating a safe and healthy work environment for everyone, and I strive to contribute to the sustainability and growth of the organizations I work with.
