ABOUT MOHAMMAD AMIN DARGI
I\'m a PhD student in the Department of Civil & Enivronmental Engineering at Colorado School of Mines. My research topic is about sustainable utilization of mine tailings in construction materials to mitigate environmental impacts of mine tailings. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities with a master degree in 2025. I performed my research at the Center of Geo-processes in Mineral Carbon Storage, Office of Science, U.S. Department of Energy which is housed by UMN. In addition, I have a master degree from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Tehran. Although, my research area during my masters was in the field of Geotechnical engineering, Finite element analysis and computational mechanics, my PhD research will be mostly included experimental methods. At the end, I received my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology (KNTU) in 2019 with GPA 3.76/4, and had great teaching assistant experiences when I studied at KNTU. I attended 24th Civil engineering Olympiad, and received 8th grade among competitors.
