ABOUT MICHAEL J. MARX
Michael is the guy you call when you need to find the answer to a problem. He has been helping business leaders in the USA and Europe move from stuck to rockin’ and rollin’ for over 35 years. His innate ability to see to the core of a problem allows him to listen well, ask powerful questions, and help surface solutions. He is a coach’s coach. After attending Oral Roberts University, Michael and his new bride worked in Berlin, Germany as English teachers. He received his MBA in 1991 from the University of Louisiana – Monroe and then set up his consulting practice Hannover, Germany where he worked as a risk management adviser, communications consultant, college instructor and church planter. Michael’s present calling came together after completing his doctorate in Adult Education from Regent University in 2010. He switched to full-time online, teaching, consulting, and coaching. He now hosts Convene’s first virtual team. Additionally, Michael has led the transition of the oldest Christian coaching organization (CCNI) to a non-profit. He is a published author and instructor of ethics, coaching mastery, and is an online professor of international business and finance. He is also a thought leader for the ethics community of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He is the co-founder of Coaching Suicide Awareness; a non-profit dedicated to training coaches in suicide intervention.
