An accomplished Testing / QA Consultant with 10+ years experience working on major software projects. Extensive experience in coordinating testing of solutions across various domains, with a technical hands-on approach to working with business / technical teams to elicit requirements and execute testing plans. Well versed in supporting projects through full lifecycles to meet all core aims and objectives successfully in line with expectations. Solid and proven ability in testing and QA with a strong background of operating within Agile and Waterfall environments on major programmes / projects. Directing teams on test planning, estimation and scheduling activities to meet requirements, with deep knowledge of the software testing life cycle (STLC) as well as defect management, change and release management processes. Leading test strategy / planning, estimation, scheduling and defect management on end-to-end life cycles. Designing, reviewing, executing and managing test cases based on defined user stories. Working on large scale projects and handling test functions on critical projects, notably within the IoT domain. Executing functional / non-functional, integration, system, regression, UAT, API, ad-hoc, live, risk based and performance testing (automated and manual). Well versed in utilising bug tracking tools such as Bugzilla / HPQC / JIRA and preparing defect / exit reports. First rate stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively listen, communicate, challenge and influence team members and Senior Managers. Technical proficiency and knowledge of Selenium, Jenkins, Gitlab, Python, C, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, HP QC, Bugzilla, SOAP UI, Postman API, Wireshark, JMeter, eSIM, IoT, MobaXterm, Oracle SQL Developer, WinSCP, Windows, Unix / Linux and AWS. Clear communicator with clients, business stakeholders and technical development team members.
