ABOUT MITCH HUGHES

Mitch is the founder, board chair and former CEO (now retired) of ViZZ, a creator of disruptive software. Manufacton is the leading intelligent on and off-site construction, fabrication and process management software, handling every step of the process, procurement, product manufacturing, distribution and management process. ViZZ is our disruptive management intelligence (VI) software that pairs 3D virtualization and AI for commercial development, construction and property management industries. As one of the original thought leaders behind Building Information Modeling (BIM), Mitch has pioneered ViZZ as a single-source project hub that enables users to collaborate across virtual, remote locations & environments – establishing a smarter way to visualize and experience life, at work, at home and in our community. With over 40 years of experience, Mitch has been an owner or partner at no fewer than ten successful technology, engineering and construction organizations, where he has proven himself as an effective leader and forward-thinking innovator. Mr. Hughes is also a senior partner at VirTeca, an innovative package handling, robotics and system controls company incorporating the advances of AI and digital twins into the movement of everything for improved efficiency and safety. In addition to being a member of Forbes Tech Council, Mitch holds multiple board-of-director and committee seats, including formerly held seats or advisory positions with highly acclaimed groups such as the National BIM Standards Committee of the National Institute of Building Sciences. His expertise and leadership continue to be acknowledged via industry recognition, requests for speaking engagements, numerous published thought-leader articles and industry awards.
