In this internship I learned and did so many things, which includes- Prepare and deliver daily financial reports for senior leadership, including derivatives valuations, exchange rates, and corporate bond activity, supporting decision-making across Finance, Treasury, and Accounting teams- Conduct derivative analysis and mark-to-market valuation across instruments such as swaps, swaptions, and total return swaps, evaluating exposure and performance drivers-Support valuation and forecasting models across real estate, operating companies, and investment portfolios using, DCF, intrinsic and market-based approaches- Assist in quarterly financial modeling (EUL, OpCo, conventional models) and contribute to estimating borrowing costs through Incremental Borrowing Rate (IBR) analysis- Analyze capital markets data (yields, forward rates, SOFR) to inform discount rates and investment assumptions in financial models- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP & A, Accounting, and Treasury teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting and valuation outputs
