As a Senior Internal Auditor at Lhoist North America, I am responsible for overseeing and conducting internal audits of various business processes to ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and industry standards. My primary role is to focus on auditing the main processes of the company, including product inventories, maintenance, procurement, sales, fixed assets, and logistics. Key Responsibilities-Develop and execute a comprehensive audit plan to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas of potential risk within the company\'s main processes-Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and anomalies that may require further investigation-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct interviews, collect data, and document findings-Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations for improvement-Work with management to develop and implement action plans to address identified issues and monitor progress-Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to auditing and internal controls.
