Origin Investments is a private equity real estate firm designed for the needs of high net worth individuals, family offices and wealth management firms. David Scherer and I started Origin in 2007 as a means to invest our own capital into private real estate and we remain the largest investors at the firm today. We are dedicated to providing individual investors with the same level of service, terms and results that larger institutions have enjoyed for decades. We have a team of more than 16 highly talented people who help the firm meet this goal. Today, we have over $600 million in assets under management and serve the needs of more than 400 investment partners. We acquire office and multifamily properties in eight fast-growing markets throughout the U.S. and our first two funds have both been ranked in the top decile of performance, based on Preqin data, outperforming 90% of other funds of same vintage, strategy and size.
