ABOUT MICHAEL BOTYAROV

I have experience as a Program Manager at Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) supporting multiple programs with a value of up to $50 million. I serve as a lead for programs, interfacing between engineering and multiple customers. I am therefore responsible for successful program execution from technical and management perspectives, being involved in proposal, development, procurement, and production activities. Additional program management activities that I support include developing work breakdown structures, writing basis of estimates, writing statements of work, identifying risks, and supporting contract negotiations with the government. My technical background as a systems engineer, coupled with proven experience in program management allows me to continuously produce results that drive high levels of customer satisfaction. I believe ongoing education is crucial to successfully solve complex business and engineering problems. I have completed my PhD at Colorado State University in Fall 2023. My research interests pertain to human systems engineering and artificial intelligence (AI), particularly maximizing the efficiency of the design process (e.g. generative design for aerospace applications). In July 2019, I graduated from University of Colorado- Denver, with an MBA. In October 2016, I graduated from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University- Worldwide, with a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering.
