About Michael Shaw

Since joining GZA in 1986, I\'ve worked on an array of environmental projects ranging from commercial and industrial investigations and remedial efforts (including RCRA and CERCLA sites), to construction dewatering evaluations and designs, to watershed and groundwater supply studies. My technical expertise is in the field of quantitative hydrogeology and modeling, and I specialize in hydrogeologic investigations, contaminant migration and fate, and soil and groundwater remediation. I have experience investigating and/or remediating sites under many state programs across the northeast and within select states across the country. I was formerly a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) in the state of Massachusetts (1993 to 2010), which I maintained while based in Massachusetts and/or completing on-going projects in the state. In 2003, I moved to the Philadelphia area where I grew up, where I now serve as a Senior Principal in our Fort Washington, PA Office, and the Technical Lead of GZA\'s Environmental Site Investigation Practice.Specialties: Hydrogeology and Remedial Investigations.
