Proven and trusted Tax Executive, leading multiple global groups within the tax function including planning, transfer pricing, and controversy. Manage global teams located in the US, EMEA, APAC and LATAM. Provide thought leadership and creative solutions to senior management in a fast-paced, results driven environment, conducting regular and effective communication with the C-suite and business group executive teams. Led global tax planning, partnering with our business and corporate units to identify, initiate, develop and implement strategies to optimize after tax earnings and cash flow. Lead global controversy team for all audits and risk mitigation related to US federal income tax, US state and local income tax, foreign income tax, VAT, sales and use tax and property tax. Assess tax law changes, develop strategic alternatives and talking points, and advocate position with government officials. Work with the business development group and businesses on all tax aspects of potential acquisition targets and divestiture opportunities, including the separation and spin-off of two separate publicly-held businesses.
