ABOUT MICHAEL KLEIN

I am the Chief Executive Officer of The Airoom Companies, Chicago’s most trusted home remodeling and design-build firm, continuing a family legacy founded in 1958 by my father. I lead the company’s long-term strategy while remaining deeply involved in daily operations to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across every project.I began my career at Airoom in 1983, gaining hands-on field experience before advancing through design, sales, and executive leadership. Over the course of my career, I have been directly responsible for more than $1.5 billion in completed design-build projects. Prior to becoming CEO, I served as Vice President during a pivotal period of growth, operational refinement, and brand expansion.Beyond Airoom, I have founded and led multiple companies spanning architecture, finance, construction, software, and luxury residential development, including Airoom Architects, Lamb Financial Corporation (originating over $1 billion in residential mortgages), START Systems, Builders Escrow & Title Agency (BETA), and Michael Bennett Homes. Through Michael Bennett Homes, I have designed and built some of the most recognized and luxurious custom residences, including a record-setting sale in West Aspen, reflecting a commitment to architectural excellence, craftsmanship, and market-leading results.I am actively involved in industry and leadership organizations including YPO/WPO, NARI, NKBA, NAHB, and the Better Business Bureau, and I founded the Airoom Charitable Foundation to support philanthropy and community engagement. Throughout my career, my focus has remained constant: building enduring businesses, delivering exceptional client outcomes, and advancing the standards of the design-build industry.
