ABOUT MICHAEL K.

I’m a leader looking to stay more than five steps ahead of our competition. I get a chance to work with the best broadcasting team in Las Vegas. We are always looking to hire the most talented individuals who fit our positive station culture. Over my 16 years at KVVU, I have worked my way up from Account Executive to Local Sales Manager to General Sales Manager and now I am in the role of VP/General Manager. Despite many opportunities with other stations and companies, I knew that the grass that was under my feet was definitely greener (strange in the desert I know). KVVU has become my home and I love what we have been able to accomplish during my time here. We have grown from the #4 ranked station in the market to the top station in Las Vegas and one of the top FOX affiliates in the country. Our team develops creative ideas, tells stories that impact the community, finds solutions for local businesses and loves to win. Such an amazing team.Outside of work, my family is my passion. I have a wonderful wife and three terrific kids. The kids definitely keep us busy with Tae-Kwon-Do, Gymnastics, Soccer, Football, Baseball, Hockey and whatever else they try to get into. This keeps us on the go constantly, but I still find some time to make some terrific BBQ! When we have some time to meet we can talk about it.
