I build things that didn’t exist before.In 25 years across cyber security and technology consulting, the thread running through every role has been the same: identifying where the market is heading before it gets there, and building the teams, practices, and solutions to meet it.Today I am a Senior Director for the Digital Trust Cyber Consulting practice at Capgemini Invent — 50+ consultants, CxO-level advisory, and a portfolio spanning operational resilience, AI governance, OT/IT security, and emerging technology. I work across the practice P&L, the people, the pipeline, and the strategy. I also lead our OPRES, Cyber-Physical, SecureAI and TrustedAI portfolios, helping enterprise clients navigate the shift from AI experimentation to operationalised, governed, and secure AI at scale.Before that, I spent five years at Wipro building the global Industrial Cyber Security practice from scratch — one of the first of its kind — running quantitative risk programmes across 80 countries, leading OT transformation programmes across 17 countries for clients like Carlsberg and Yara, and incubating VC-backed cyber start-ups across EMEA. Then a stint at Forescout where I grew the EMEA business from near-zero to $2M in six months. Then a founding CTO role at AgileCadence, designing and shipping a Microsoft security managed service during a pandemic.The early years were equally formative. A decade of independent consulting — Carlsberg, Yara, William Hill, BT — built the multi-domain depth that no single employer could have provided. And before that, HSBC, where the rigour of enterprise financial services security instilled standards that still underpin everything I do.I’m a trusted advisor to CISOs, CIOs, and CEOs. I know the difference between cyber theatre and cyber outcomes. And I’m genuinely energised by the questions the industry is wrestling with right now — how AI transforms the CISO role, what operational resilience really means in a CNI context, and how you build a security culture that doesn’t just say no.Outside work: South Yorkshire hills, hi-fi audio, motorsport, and planning an eventual long escape.
